LOCATION
The Gallery is located at 103 Park Dr. in Ganges, Salt Spring Island,
at the corner of Park Dr. and Lower Ganges Rd. This is 200 metres north of the Tourist Information Centre in Ganges, and about half-way between Ganges and the Harbour House Hotel.
FLOOR PLAN
The Gallery is divided into two main rooms. The Main Room is the first room visitors enter. There is one large wall of over 14 feet, and several smaller walls. On the north wall of the Main Room is the door that leads to the Garden Room. This room has a view of the pond and garden from a window that is opposite a wall of more than 13 feet.
VISION STATEMENT
The objective of the Gallery is to promote the work of photographic artists, both contemporary and historic; to encourage emerging photographic artists; and to be a forum for photographic education.
To these ends, the Gallery will be a place for those interested in photographic art to view a broad range of images, and will be a key location for local photographers to display and sell their images. The Gallery will host solo and group shows on a broad variety of themes from both the local and the wider photographic communities.
Photographic artists will have their images represented to a wide audience by a Gallery dedicated solely to photographic art. The Gallery will provide opportunities for photographic artists to introduce, or to explore new directions.
The Gallery will organize, participate in, and sponsor educational activities. These activities will cover a broad range of interests that will appeal both to collectors and creators of photographic art.
