New Work

Happy To Be Here #2, or What I learned in Toronto is a montage of photographs that expresses how I felt in 2006 about being on Salt Spring Island.  It incorporates Happy To Be Here, an image created in 2001 from 8 other photographs - all taken in the arctic.  HTBH #2 was first shown at the 2006 PhotoSynthesis show.  It measures 39 x 39 inches. C-Print, Limited Edition 1/1, 2 AP.

Hannah is a Palindrome was shown first at the 2007 PhotoSynthesis show.  It has also been shown at i2i, the WAP faculty show in 2008.  In the picture below Hannah - a good friend of mine, and the subject of the photographs - is standing with the 3 images at PhotoSynthesis.  This is a set of 3 images taken with a 20 x 24 inch Polaroid camera. Original Polaroid prints mounted on wood.  Two images have a wood/glass frame attached to front.  Approximately 20x24 inches.

Through a Glass Darkly was created in 2008 for a themed show titled "Through a Glass Darkly".  This show was a collaboration between about a dozen photographers and the same number of writers.  My image incorporates 6 separate photographs, all taken in Ottawa.  It measures 40 x 40 inches.  Limited Edition 1/1, 2 AP.
